Chapter 4: Connecting AC and PV arrays to the
Synergy Manager

Operational settings including grid protection settings may be reviewed periodically as
part of a routine maintenance procedure.
Connecting the AC Grid to the Synergy Manager
The Synergy Manager is provided with up to three PV arrays connection via conduits.
Figure 19 shows an open Synergy Manager with DC connection to PV arrays.

NOTE
SolarEdge fixed input Voltage architecture enables parallel PV strings to be of
different lengths. Therefore, they do not need to have the same number of
Power Optimisers as long as the length of each PV string is within the
permitted range.

Connecting the PV arrays to the Synergy Manager

The inverter is designed with three DC input terminals. Nevertheless, each input may
connect to several parallel PV arrays via an external combiner box.
