    Enabling HP Easy Clean (select products only) HP Easy Clean helps you to avoid accidental input while you clean the computer surfaces. This software disables devices such as the keyboard, touch screen, and touchpad for a preset amount of time so that you can clean all computer surfaces.

    Keep liquids away from the product. Avoid getting moisture in any openings. If liquid makes its way inside your HP product, it can cause damage to the product. You must remove, replace, or loosen as many as 56 screws when you service the parts described in this chapter.

If you need to replace display assembly subcomponents: Flex the inside edge of the bottom edge of the display bezel (1) to release it from the display assembly. Flex the inside edges of the left and right sides of the bezel (2) to release them. Flex the inside edge of the top of the bezel (3) to release it.
  • Page 48 Simultaneously twist (2) and pull (3) the tape away from the display panel. Release the G-sensor module (1) from the display back cover. (The G-sensor module is secured to the display back cover with double-sided adhesive.) Release the display panel cable from the retention clips (2) and routing channel built in to the display back cover.

Lift up evenly across the webcam/microphone module and detach the module up from the display back cover (4).
