  • Page 8 Getting Acquainted Parallel Cable Requirements Connect the machine to your host computer using a parallel port. This machine does not provide the parallel cable to connect the machine to the host computer. The machine's parallel interface is a standard bi-directional interface. It requires a standard 36-pin parallel cable compliant with IEEE 1284 and a parallel port available on the host computer.
