Before removing the bottom cover, prepare the computer for disassembly
on page 18).
Remove the bottom cover:
1. Peel the two rubber feet off the bottom of the computer (1).
2. Remove the seven Phillips M2.5 × 5.0 screws (2) that secure the bottom cover to the computer.
3. Starting between the hinges, release the edges of the bottom cover from the computer (1).
4. Remove the bottom from the computer (2).
To replace the bottom cover, reverse the removal procedures.
