The ENERGY STAR Guidelines intend to establish an international energy-saving system for developing and introducing energy-efficient office equipment to deal with environmental is- sues, such as global warming.
  • Page 7 • Duplex Priority The ENERGY STAR Program recommends the duplex function. By conserv- ing paper this function helps the environment. For applicable machines, du- plex function (one-sided original → two-sided copies) can be selected for when the operation switch or the main power switch is turned on, the { { { { Clear Modes/Energy Saver} } } } key is pressed, or when the machine resets automatically.
