22. Insert the remaining six button head screws
through the base and into the scale platform. Do
not completely tighten.
23. Access the bottom of the platform by placing the
scale carefully on its side or up on a table. Obtain
one of the silver mounting brackets and position
it so that the flat side of the bracket faces the
bottom of the platform.

Position the bracket as shown and thread the screw
into the threaded nut on the bracket.
25. Repeat the process with the second mounting
bracket. Then tighten all 8 screws completely.
26. Note: When mounting the brackets underneath
the platform, ensure that the silver brackets are
not touching the black stabilizer bar. If necessary,
loosen the screws to adjust, then retighten.
