18. Position the base onto the scale platform by
aligning the holes in the plate with the holes
in the drilled in the platform. Note: There is a
strip of double-sided tape on the bottom of
the handlebar base. This will be removed in
step 22.
19. Insert two of the provided 1/4-20 X 2 1/4"
screws into the plate on the handlebars and
into the scale platform, one screw on the
outside of both sides of the handlebar
channel.
20. Locate the strip of double-sided tape on the
bottom of the plate.
21. Slightly tilt the base up to allow for the
removal of the tape backing strip. Peel off the
backing strip under the plate. Lower the
plate/handlebars onto the scale platform and
apply light pressure for 30 seconds.
