4. Spread one tablespoon of the filling onto the pastry squares.
5. Brush a little water onto the edge of the pastry and fold it up into triangles. Firmly
press down the edge of the pastry.
6. Spread the apple turnovers on the baking rack.
7. Insert the baking rack into the device in the middle position.
8. Start the
"Baking" programme.
9. Before the cooking time elapses, check whether the apple turnovers are golden
brown and take them out before the end of the cooking time if necessary. If the apple
turnovers appear too light, extend the cooking time.
Banana Chips
Ingredients:

Preparation:
1. Peel the bananas and cut them into slices 2 – 3 mm thick. The thinner they are, the
faster they will dry.
2. Spread the banana slices on the baking racks.
3. Insert the baking rack into the device.
4. Start the
"Drying" programme.
5. Check whether the banana slices are dry. They will feel slightly leathery when they
are done. Otherwise start the program again or increase the cooking time.
Basic Recipe for 12 Muffins
Ingredients:
80 g
Butter
200 g
Flour
1 pack
Vanilla sugar
0.5 pack Baking powder

Preparation:
1. Beat the eggs to a froth in a bowl. Gradually add the sugar with the vanilla sugar.
Add the butter cut into flakes. Whisk to a good froth until you can no longer see any
butter flakes.
2. Stir in the milk alternately with the flour and the baking powder.
3. Pour the mixture into each of the muffin moulds up to half full.
4. Spread the muffin moulds on the baking racks.
5. Insert the baking racks into the device in the middle / bottom position.
6. Start the
"Baking" programme.
7. Before the cooking time elapses, check whether the muffins are cooked and take
them out before the end of the cooking time if necessary.

American Cutlet
Ingredients:
4
Pork cutlet(s) (preferably neck cutlets)
2 tbsp.
Butter
2
Onion(s), cut into rings
3 tbsp.
Sugar, brown
1 tsp., heaped
Salt
1 tsp., level
Pepper
3 tbsp.
Vinegar
3 tbsp.
Lemon juice
To taste
Ground chilli flakes
1 pinch
Cayenne pepper
2 tsp.
Mustard
1 tsp.
Paprika powder, smoked
1 1/2 cups
Tomato ketchup
2 tbsp.
Worcester sauce
1 cup
Water
Preparation:
1. Place the cutlets into a small casserole.
2. Mix together the lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper.
3. Melt the butter in a small pan and fry off the onions in it.
4. Add the sugar, allow it to caramelise a little and deglaze with the lemon juice mixture.
5. Bring to the boil and pour over the cutlets.
6. Stir together the tomato ketchup with the water and the Worcester sauce. Mix togeth-
er the rest of the spices thoroughly with the whisk.
7. Pour this sauce over the cutlets.
8. Slide the backing rack onto the middle rail in the cooking space and place the casse-
role on a baking rack.
9. Start the
"Steaks/cutlets" programme.
10. If the cutlets are not covered by the sauce, pour the sauce over them from time to
time.
11. Check how cooked the food is shortly before the end of the programme. Extend the
cooking time if necessary.
