Additional Features Tab – More Page Extensions
Additional SIP extensions can be registered for each multicast zone that will be used.
This allows the advantage of dialing directly to a zone without needing to enter DTMF
Codes (e.g. speed-dial keys can be used), but this may require additional SIP licenses
depending on the SIP provider.
To configure additional page extensions (up to 50) click "Enable" beside the target
extension and enter the Extension, Authentication ID, and Authentication password.
The 8198 will auto-answer any inbound calls received on these numbers and provide a
voice paging path and multicast if configured. Note that only a single call can be active
at a time.
Note: Some SIP phone systems may not support this feature if they limit the number
of extensions that can be registered on a single device.
