rent program (the current program can
always be cancelled this way).

wash program.
At the end of the wash cycle
The alarm will sound for 8 seconds. Open the
door of your dishwasher and switch the dish-
washer off using the ON/OFF pad. Wait a few
minutes before unloading the dishwasher to
avoid handling the dishes and utensils while
they are still hot and more susceptible to
breakage.

Detergent dispenser

The dispenser must be refilled before starting a wash cycle. Follow the instructions provided
in the Wash Cycle Chart section. This dishwasher use less detergent and rinse agent than
conventional dishwashers. Generally only one tablespoon of detergent will be enough for a
normal wash load. A heavy soiled load will need more detergent.
Always add the detergent just before starting dishwasher, otherwise it could get damp and
will not dissolve properly.

Amount of detergent to use

IF WATER IN YOUR AREA IS NOT TOO HARD,
YOU MAY ALSO PREVENT THE FORMATION OF
DEPOSITS BY ADDING DETERGENT. The
amount of detergent needed can vary due to
differences in water hardness. To determine
the water hardness in your area, contact
your local water utility department or a wa-
ter softening company. The harder the water,
the more detergent you will need. Remem-
ber, you should adjust the amount of deter-
gent you use by small amounts until you find
the correct amount.
