The positioner is equipped with an additional input (terminal 81 [+] and
terminal 82 [--]) for driving to the safety position. After activating this
function this input must be supplied with uninterrupt +24 V, to allow nor-
mal positioning operation.
If this power supply is switched off or drops out, the air exhaust valve is
automatically opened and the drive will move to the pre-arranged safety
position, so that the drive cannot be activated using the keys on the
control unit or by means of the master switch. The communication with
the Master is still possible.
