Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly

Remove the touchpad:
1. Remove the tape that secures the touchpad to the computer (1).
2. Disconnect the touchpad board cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (2).
3. Remove the touchpad from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad.
