Inserting a Lancet

You must first insert a lancet into the lancing device to get it ready for use.
Recessed Area
1. Remove the cap by pulling it
straight off. Use your thumb
and finger to pull on the
recessed area as seen in the
illustration.
2. Insert a lancet until it clicks. 3. Twist off the lancet's protective
cover.
