• The test strip drum does not
rotate. – Slide and release
to turn off the meter.
Open the drum door and press
the red drum release button.
Close the drum door. The next
time you slide and release
to turn on the meter and
perform a test, the drum
symbol is displayed and the
bottle symbol flashes. The
90-day use-by period is no
longer calculated for this test
drum.
• The bar code on the test drum
is damaged. You can no longer
perform tests with test strips
from this drum. – Insert a new
drum.
• The measurement window is
dirty. – Clean the test strip slot
and measurement window and
repeat the test. See next page
for how to clean the test strip
slot and measurement
window.
