32 Connecting the Energy Meter
To connect the Energy Meter to the inverter
1. Connect one end of the communication cable to the Energy Meter, as explained in
the Energy Meter's installation guide.
2. Open one of the inverter's communication glands and insert the other end of the
communication cable through the gland.
3. Make sure the RS485-2 DIP switch (the right switch) is OFF.
4. Make sure the Energy Meter's DIP switch 2 is ON.
5. Proceed with connection only after installing the battery, as explained in
Connecting the Battery on page 33.
