START
Check the spark condition.
No or weak sparks
Check the condition of the
spark plug.
OK
Disconnect the emergency
stop switch wire (Blue/Red
or Green).
No or weak sparks
Check the ignition coil
resistance.
OK
Check the spark plug cap for
evidence of high tension
leak.
OK
Check the spark plug cap
resistance.
OK
Check the charge coil
resistance.
OK
Check the charge coil
resistance.
OK
Sparks
Check the ignition timing.
Not good
Replace the spark plug.
Sparks
Check and/or replace the emergency stop switch
or the ignition switch.
Out of spec
Replace the ignition coil.
Not good
Replace the spark plug cap.
Out of spec
Replace the spark plug cap.
Out of spec
Replace the charge coil.
Out of spec
Replace the charge coil.
Replace the power pack.
