GEARCASE
BEARING AND SEAL INSTALLATION
Insert tool and bearing into gearcase. Using raw-
hide mallet, drive bearing into place until washer
contacts spacer, P/N 350932.

Driveshaft Bearing Housing
Bearing Race and Seals
To install driveshaft bearing race, use bearing tool
installation, P/N 342685, to press race until seated
in housing
Apply Triple-Guard grease to the inner circumfer-
ence of the housing and the lips of the new seals.
Place the seals in the housing (one at a time) with
the lips facing away from the driveshaft bearing.
Use oil seal installation obtained locally to seat
seals into the bearing housing.
Install a new O-ring on the housing. Apply Triple-
Guard grease to the O-ring after installation.

Forward Gear Bearing Race
Use bearing installation tool obtained locally to
seat new bearing race fully into gearcase housing.
