Removal

WARNING
To prevent accidental starting while ser-
vicing, twist and remove the spark plug
leads and disconnect the battery cables at
the battery.
Drain the engine oil and remove the side covers.
Refer to the MAINTENANCE section for these
procedures.
Remove three (3) bolts and the flywheel cover.

Remove eight (8) cylinder head cover bolts, then
remove the cylinder head cover and the breather
hose.

Remove the throttle cables from the throttle drum.
Remove the bolt, the throttle drum, the throttle
lever rod, and the throttle limiter rod.

Remove the shift lever link.
