3. Connect the external shutdown switch wires to the E1 and E2 terminals.
4. Close the StorEdge Connection Unit cover.
5. Turn on the external shutdown switch.
6. Turn on AC.
7. Enable remote shutdown:
a. Enter Setup mode.
b. Select Maintenance è Power Control è Remote Shutdown è Enable.
To check the external shutdown switch operation:
1. Turn on the inverter Remove the StorEdge Connection Unit covers: on page 38
2. Turn off the inverter's AC circuit breaker on the main distribution panel.
3. Make sure the inverter switches to Backup mode.
4. Turn off the external shutdown switch.
5. Check that the DC voltage (displayed on the inverter's LCD) decreases to 30V within
30 seconds.
6. Turn on the external shutdown switch.
