If it is necessary to replace the webcam transfer board:
a.
Disconnect the cable (that routes to the webcam module) from the ZIF connector on the webcam
transfer board (1).
b.
Disconnect the cable (that routes to the system board module) from the connector on the webcam
transfer board (2).
c.
Use a plastic tool to loosen the board (3), and then remove the board from the display (4).
The webcam transfer board is available using spare part number L54828-001.
11.
If it is necessary to replace the webcam transfer board cable:
a.
Disconnect the cable from the webcam module (1), and the remove the cable from the clip (2) on
the display back cover.
b.
On models with a touch display, disconnect the cable from the webcam transfer board (3).
c.
Remove the cable from the display (4).
The webcam transfer board cable is available using the following spare part numbers:

L54827-001 – For use only on computer models equipped with a touch display assembly
●
L54829-001 – For use only on computer models equipped with non-touch display assembly
