NOTE: The display assembly is spared at the subcomponent level. For display assembly spare part

Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly

3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Remove the display assembly:
1. Disconnect the display cable (1) from the system board.
2. Disconnect the transfer board cable (2) from the system board.
3. Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables (3) from the terminals on the WLAN module.
NOTE:
WLAN antenna cable labeled "2/AUX" connects to the WLAN module "Aux" terminal.
4. Release the cables from the retention clips and routing channels (4) built into the computer.
5. Remove the five Phillips M2.5 × 5.0 screws (1) from the hinges.
6. Open the computer as far as possible (2).
