3.30 Valve Does Not Go Fully Closed/Open
● From AUT or MAN mode, press
– Observer parameter name in the lower left hand corner.
● Continue to press
– Note: While in configuration mode, the positioner is NOT controlling the valve.
● Use

● To exit configuration mode, press and hold
– Unit should be in Manual Mode.
● Press and release
● Verify the valve assembly goes to the fully open and/or closed position with a 0 or 100%
command signal.
● If not:
– The problem may be the input signal. Use the PS2's display as a current meter. This
– Verify unit is in Automatic mode.
– Provide a 4 mA input signal.
– Press all three buttons down until display changes.
