the engine to idle for a few minutes and shutdown the engine in accordance
with POH procedures.
If the oil pressure does not rise in 30 seconds, stop the engine and determine the
(k) Visually check inside of cowling for any obvious leaks and correct them as
necessary.
2.2.

OIL SCREEN

(1) REMOVAL

If a spin on oil filter is installed, the oil screen should be desoldered and removed.
(a) Drain the oil (Refer to Section 6.3.10.2.1)
(b) Place a rag below the screen and on top of the muffler shroud to catch the oil.
(c) Remove the bolts that secure the oil screen housing.
