Before removing the fan, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the fan:
1. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (1).
2. Remove the silver Phillips M2.0×5.0 screw (2) that secures the fan to the computer.
3. Remove the black Phillips M2.0×3.0 screw (3) that secures the fan to the computer.
4. Lift the fan from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the fan.
