Connecting the Strings to the Inverter

 1.  Verify that the AC circuit breaker is OFF.
 2.  Strip 5⁄16'' (8 mm) of the DC wire insulation.
 3.  Insert the DC conduit into the DC-side opening. Make sure the conduit is firmly attached to the 
inverter enclosure and sealed properly.
 4.  Connect the DC wires from the PV installation to the DC+ and DC- terminal blocks, according to the 
labels on the terminals: 
 a.  Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the square opening at the top of the terminal block   a nd press 
to open clamp mechanism. 
 b.  Insert the wire into the round opening and release   t he screwdriver to spring back and clamp the 
wire. Check that the wire is fully inserted and cannot be pulled out easily.
CAUTION!
Ensure that the Plus (+) wire(s) is connected to the (+) terminal and that the Minus (-) wire is
connected to the Minus (-) terminal connector.

NOTE
For systems with four PV strings or more, fuses may need to be installed in
both the positive and negative conductors as required by NEC Article 690.9.
