Description

3-cell, 34-Wh, 3.4 Ah, polymer battery

Before removing the battery, follow these steps:

Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the

computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and

then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the battery:

Remove the 2 Phillips M2.0×6.0 screws (1) that secure the battery to the computer.

Lift the tape from atop the battery connector, and then disconnect the cable from the system board

connector (2).

Remove the battery from the computer (3).

Reverse this procedure to install the battery.
