IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURE:
The RS232 conector on the bottom of the inverter is safe to touch during normal
operation of the inverter
To configure RS232 communication to the SolarEdge
Monitoring Server:

Using the user buttons, select the RS232 option under the Communication
 Server menu, as described in the Configuring the Inverter Using the LCD
Panel and User Buttons section on page 67.

Follow the instructions of your SolarEdge modem for model-specific
configuration options.

Connect the modem to the inverter through the RS232 connector, which is
the nine-pin connector on the bottom of the inverter. There is no need to open
the inverter cover.
To verify the connection, you may refer to the Verifying the Connection section
on page 59.
The internal RS232 terminal block connector located on the communication
board, shown in Figure 20, can also be used for phase balancing. You may refer
to the SolarEdge Phase Balancing User Guide for more details.
