    Preface Preface Dear customer, Congratulations on purchasing a high quality Maginon product. You have chosen a modern and easy to operate Smart Plug. The device comes with a 3 year warranty. In case of a defect in the Smart Plug, the enclosed warranty card and proof of purchase are required.

    General General Read and keep instructions This Operating Instruction belong to this Smart Plug. It contains important informati- on about the start up and handling. Study these Operating Instructions and, in particular the Safety Information in detail prior to using the Smart Plug.

This signal word indicate a low level hazard which could cause slight or moderate injury if not avoided. NOTE!     Safety Safety Correct use The Smart Plug is solely designed to be used as a Smart Plug. It is only suitable for private and not commercial use. Only use the Smart Plug as described in the Operating Instructions. Any other use is deemed to be incorrect and can cause material damage and loss of data.
  • Page 7 Safety − The Smart Plug may not be operated with an exter- nal timer or separate remote control system. − Never immerse the affiliated components to water or other fluids. There is a fire and electric shock hazard. − Keep Smart Plug away from open flames and hot surfaces.
  • Page 8 Safety − Keep packaging foil away from children. They could get caught in it during play and could suffocate. NOTE! Danger of material damage! Incorrect use of the Smart Plug can cause the Smart Plug to be damaged − When installing and assembling the Smart Plug ensure that a 10 cm gap is maintained on all sides in order to provide adequate ventilation.

    Start Start Preparing the Smart Plug − Remove packaging material and all protective foil. Contents of box WARNING! Caution! Keep plastic foil and bags away from babies and small children as danger of suffocation. NOTE! Danger of damage! If the packaging is carelessly opened with a sharp knife or other pointed objects, the product can be easily da- maged.

Follow the instructions for iOS or Android in the fol- lowing section of the Operating Instructions The Smart Plug works with WLAN or the router of your Internet connection. Where several Smart Plugs are to be connected to a Smartphone, each device must be connected separatelyn.

Start App If you have not registered with supra space before, please complete the fields “User name” (freely selec- table) and “Password” (freely selectable) and “Confirm password” (repeat password). Once you have comple- ted the fields confirm your information by selecting If you are already a supra space client use your usual log-in information.
  • Page 13 Operation Open the WLAN menu of your Smartphone. A list of all available WLAN networks appears that are within the cover range of your Smartphone. Search for the WLAN network named “PlugSetup_xxxxxx“ (with “xxxxxx“ representing the last 6 digits of the MAC address of the Smart Plug).

Wait until the WiFi/Power LED starts to flash quickly. Your Smartphone/tablet provi- des a WiFi network under the name “PlugSetup” in this status.

Once you have selected your network, enter your net- work key under “WiFi key” and select If you have not changed your network code yourself, the code can be found on the rear of the router.

  • Page 19 Operation 7. When selecting a device on the start menu, the set- tings of the device connected to the Smart Plug are opened. Name: You can give the device a name of your choice. Time Zone: Set up the correct country time zone for the location of the Smart Plug as the set time schedules cannot function without this information.
  • Page 20 Operation 8. The Schedule menu contains all self generated au- tomatic time settings. Settings can be modified in this menu or added using the Plus symbol at the bottom left. For adding new time settings, the following setting op- tions are available: Weeksdays: Selection of weekdays.
  • Page 21 Operation 9. The App not only allows you to control one device but to switch several devices of a group on and off. Select the option from the start page. The Group menu nearly contains the same settings options as for individual devices. The exception is the option Sockets.
  • Page 22 Operation As soon as you have selected a device, the device is highlighted and a tick appears. Remove the device from the group again by clicking on it again. Click on at the top right to save your settings. Only registered Smart Plugs are displayed. Each device can be placed in several groups.
