Card Save mode is toggled using printer Bit Switch #1 bit number 4. Card Save will remain enabled until the SD card becomes full, or until all file names have been used.
  • Page 195 Card Save Function 1. Use the numeric key "4" to turn bit 4 ON and be sure to press "#" button to confirm. The result should look like: 00010000 as shown above. By doing this Card Save option will appear in "List/ Test Print".

    7. Energy Saving Paper Save Effectiveness of Duplex/Combine Function Duplexing and the combine functions reduce the amount of paper used. This means that less energy overall is used for paper production, which improves the environment. 1. Duplex: Reduce paper volume in half! 2.
  • Page 203: Recommendation

Paper Save To check the paper consumption, look at the total counter and the duplex counter. The total counter counts all pages printed. • For one duplex page, the total counter goes up by 2. • For a duplex job of a three-page original, the total counter goes up by 3. The duplex counter counts pages that have images on both sides.

Dedicated Transmission Parameters Dedicated Transmission Parameters There are two sets of transmission parameters: Fax and E-mail Each Quick Dial Key and Speed Dial Code has eight bytes of programmable parameters allocated to it. If transmissions to a particular machine often experience problems, store that terminal’s fax number as a Quick Dial or Speed Dial, and adjust the parameters allocated to that number.
