System board

NOTE:
The system board spare part kit includes the processor, 16-GB of system memory, a graphics
subsystem with UMA memory, and replacement thermal material.
Description
Equipped with an Intel Core i7-7500U 2.70-GHz (SC turbo up to 3.50-GHz) processor (2133-MHz FSB,
4.0-MB L3 cache, dual core, 15-W) and the Windows 10 Professional operating system

Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the bottom cover (see

When replacing the system board, be sure that the following components are removed from
the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board:

Remove the system board:
1.
Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
(1) Audio jack module ZIF connector cable
(2) WLAN module antenna cables
NOTE:
WLAN "Aux/#2"antenna cable is connected to the WLAN module "Aux" terminal.
(3) Display panel ZIF connector cable
(4) Power connector cable
(5) Left speaker cable
(6) RTC battery cable
(7) Backlight ZIF connector cable
(8) Keyboard ZIF connector cable
(9) TouchPad board ZIF connector cable
(10) Card reader board ZIF connector cable
