Before removing the card reader board, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the card reader board:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the card reader board cable is connected, and then disconnect
the card reader board cable from the system board.
2. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×2.8 screw (2) that secures the card reader board to the keyboard/top cover.
3. Lift the left side of the card reader board (3) until it rests at an angle.
4. Remove the card reader board (4) by sliding it up and to the left at an angle.
Reverse this procedure to install the card reader board.
