    5. Preparing the camcorder 5.1. Inserting and removing the memory card In order to be able to shoot videos or photos with the camcorder, you must first insert a memory card for the recordings and photos to be saved on. Insert a microSD/microSDHC memory card into the Action Camcorder as shown in the illustration.

    5.2. Charging the battery To charge the integrated lithium ion battery, switch the camera off and connect the USB cable to the USB port on the camera. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the USB port on a computer with USB 2.0 or higher or a 5V and at least 500 mA USB mains adapter.

    7. Connecting to a computer You can transfer video and photo files directly from the camcorder to a computer. Switch the Action Camcorder on and plug the USB cable into the USB port on it and into the computer. The computer will then install an additional removable disk in My Computer, through which you can access the data stored on the camcorder memory card.
