You can also check yourself whether the control result is within the right concentration range.
To do this, compare the control result with the concentration table on the test cassette box.

Possible sources of error

If Control test not OK Repeat control test is displayed, the control result is not within the concentration
range displayed. Answer the questions in the following overview with yes or no.
• If your answer to the question is no, make the respective corrections and repeat the test.
• If you answered yes to all the questions and Control test not OK is still displayed, contact the customer
support and service centre (see page 134).

If Control test not OK Repeat control test is displayed, you can no longer guarantee that the meter and
test cassette are functioning properly. Blood glucose tests may then produce incorrect test results.
Incorrect test results can cause the wrong therapy recommendation to be made and thus produce
serious adverse health effects.
