Problem
The door is difficult to
open and close.
The coffee machine
does not rinse itself
when turned on.
When rinsing, no water
or noticeably less water
than usual runs out of
the central spout.
No coffee or noticeably
less coffee than usual is
dispensed from the
central spout. The dis‐
play and the noise when
coffee is being made
remain the same.
There is noticeably
more "coffee water" in
the waste container.

Possible cause and remedy
The cap on the central spout connector has either not
been lubricated or is not lubricated sufficiently.
 Check the silicone cap for damage. If necessary,
replace it with the extra cap supplied.
 Lubricate the cap with the silicone grease sup‐
plied.
Lubricate the cap on the central spout connector reg‐
ularly once a month.
This is not a fault.
If the coffee machine still has an operating tempera‐
ture higher than 60 °C, rinsing will not take place.
The central spout is not fitted correctly.
 Check whether the central spout has been assem‐
bled as described (see "Cleaning and care – Cen‐
tral spout").
The cap is no longer securely fitted to the central
spout connector (see "Guide to the appliance").
 Check the cap on the central spout connector. Lu‐
bricate the cap with the silicone grease supplied.
The cap on the central spout connector is damaged
or missing.
 Replace the cap with the extra cap supplied.
 Lubricate the cap with the silicone grease sup‐
plied.
