The Main Remote Recording Screen: Detailed Camera Settings
The following sections explain how to use the controls in the detailed camera settings panel. For detailed
information and applicable restrictions about the functions themselves, please refer to each function's
explanation.
To change the white balance
Touch/click the [White Balance] tab in the detailed camera settings panel.
1 Auto white balance button
Touch/click [
] to set the camera to auto white balance (AWB) mode.
2 Custom white balance buttons
Touch/click [ÅA] or [ÅB]. If a custom white balance has not yet been
stored, the icon in the button will flash slowly.
To set the custom white balance: Point the camera at a gray card or white
object with no pattern so it fills the whole screen and touch/click [Å]. Use
the same lighting conditions you plan to use when recording.
During the procedure, the icon in the button will flash quickly. When it
stops flashing, the procedure is completed and the custom white balance
will be applied.
3 Preset white balance buttons
Touch/click [¼] (daylight) or [É] (tungsten lamp) to apply the
corresponding preset white balance setting.
To fine-tune the preset settings: Touch/click the adjustment value [±0] next to the selected button and select
the desired adjustment value (–9 to +9) from the list that appears to the right.
4 Color temperature buttons
Touch/click [È] to apply the color temperature value shown next to the [È] button.
To change the color temperature: Touch/click the color temperature value and select the desired color
temperature from the list that appears to the right.
