process of installing and configuring your server. It provides a flexible, guided

Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003.
To install other operating systems, please contact your service representative for the

setup, complete the hardware configuration.
The following message window may be popped up at the start of the
PAM service, such as PAM installation and system startup when using
the FastTrak S150-SX4 S-ATA RAID controller.
"Array scheduled synchronization has not been set up."
This indicates that the periodical consistency check (synchroni-
zation) of arrays has not been set. Installation will be finished
successfully even if the message is popped up.
You can set the periodical synchronization using the Array Syn-
chronization Schedule function of PAM.
You are strongly recommended to regularly execute synchroni-
zation because synchronization is very effective in preventive
maintenance. For more information on scheduled synchroniza-
tion, see the description of the scheduling function in "Promise
Array Management User's Guide" included in NEC EXPRESS-
BUILDER CD-ROM.
The following message is also registered in the PAM log and
system event log files.
"No array Scheduled Synchronization"
"Array scheduled synchronization has not been set up"
