Copy an identification card only to the extent permitted under applicable laws. For more information, see the Safety
Guide .
1. Press (Copy).
2. Place an identification card face down near the upper left corner of the scanner glass.
1 0.16 in. (4.0 mm) or greater (top, left)
3. Press ID Copy.
4. Do one of the following:
• Dell E515dn/Dell E515dw
Use the dial pad to enter the number of copies you want.
• Dell E514dw
Press p or q to enter the number of copies you want.
5. Press Start.
The machine scans one side of the identification card.
6. After the machine has scanned the first side, turn over the identification card.
