Purge Valve (for Supercharger) (Service Code 6A)
Purge Valve (for Supercharger) Removal/Instal-

For CAL, SEA-B1 and TH models, remove the canis-
ter (see Evaporative Emission Control System Inspection
(CAL, SEA-B1 and TH Models) in the Periodic Mainte-
Remove the air suction valve cover bolt [A].
Disconnect the purge valve connector [A].
Slide the clamps [B].
Disconnect the hoses [C].
Purge Valve [E]
Installation is the reverse of removal.
Run the hoses correctly (see Cable, Wire, and Hose Rout-
ing section in the Appendix chapter).

Remove the purge valve (see Purge Valve (for Super-
Connect a digital meter [A] to the purge valve terminals
Purge Valve Resistance
22 ∼ 26 Ω @20°C (68°F)
If the resistance reading is out of the specified value, re-
place it with a new one.
Connect the 12 V battery [A] to the purge valve terminals
Blow the air to the intake air duct [A], and make sure that
the air flows from the outlet air duct [B].
