7. Removal of the MOTOR PCB ASSY

1. Remove the top cover ASSY according to "1. Removal of
the lens ASSY, zoom, focus motor ASSY".
2. Remove the CW cover unit according to "2. Removal of
the color wheel ASSY".
3. Remove the fi lter cover unit according to "3. Removal of
the ACF SENSOR PCB ASSY".
4. Remove the top case ASSY according to "4. Removal of
the exhaust fan (front)".
5. Remove the main top shield according to "5. Removal of
the lamp fan 1".
6. Disconnect all connectors on the MOTOR PCB ASSY .
7. Remove the three screws (a) and MOTOR PCB ASSY
as shown in Fig. 3-6.
8. Removal of the IRF PCB ASSY
1. Remove the top cover ASSY according to "1. Removal of
the lens ASSY, zoom, focus motor ASSY".
2. Remove the CW cover unit according to "2. Removal of
the color wheel ASSY".
3. Remove the fi lter cover unit according to "3. Removal of
the ACF SENSOR PCB ASSY".
4. Remove the top case ASSY according to "4. Removal of
the exhaust fan (front)".
5. Remove the main top shield according to "5. Removal of
the lamp fan 1".
6. Remove the MOTOR PCB ASSY according to "7. Re-
moval of the MOTOR PCB ASSY".
7. Remove the screw (b) and IRF PCB ASSY as shown in
Fig. 3-6.
9. Removal of the drive motor ASSY,
ACF MOTOR PCB ASSY
1. Remove the top cover ASSY according to "1. Removal of
the lens ASSY, zoom, focus motor ASSY".
2. Remove the CW cover unit according to "2. Removal of
the color wheel ASSY".
3. Remove the fi lter cover unit according to "3. Removal of
the ACF SENSOR PCB ASSY".
4. Remove the top case ASSY according to "4. Removal of
the exhaust fan (front)".
5. Remove the main top shield according to "5. Removal of
the lamp fan 1".
6. Disconnect the connector (SU) on the MAIN PCB ASSY
as shown in Fig. 3-7.
7. Remove the screw (a) and screw side holder as shown
in Fig. 3-7.
8. Remove the screw (b) and fi lter ASSY as shown in Fig.
3-7.
9. Disconnect the connector (CM) on the ACF MOTOR
PCB ASSY as shown in Fig. 3-7.
10. Remove the two screws (c) and drive motor ASSY as
shown in Fig. 3-7.
11. Disconnect the connector (CU) on the ACF MOTOR
PCB ASSY as shown in Fig. 3-7.
12. Remove the two screws (d) and ACF MOTOR PCB
ASSY in Fig. 3-7.
