INSTALLING THE COOKTOP
r_ INSTALLING THE COOKTOP
CAUTION:
DO NOT LIFT FROM
VENT OPENING.
Lift the cooktop by the gloss side edges as shown.
NOTE: Do not use the gloss top vent opening to lift
or move the cooktop into position.
Lower the cooktop into the countertop opening,
guiding it into position. Gloss is frogile-do not ollow
it to drop onto the countertop. Support from the
underside ond lower slowly.
Curefully remove your fingers one corner ot o time
to lower the cooktop into position.
NOTE: Do not use Silicone RTV or coulk to bond
cooktop gloss to countertop.
D CHECKING FOR FLATNESS
Inspect the cooktop gloss for rocking or uneven
gap on oil four sides ot the countertop surface.
Do not ottempt to force the gloss to meet the
countertop.

INSTALLATION BRACKETS
NOTE: Check for gloss flotness in Step 9 before
instolling optionul instullution bruckets.

To order optionul instullution brockets/thumb screws,
coil the Notionol Ports Center ot 800.626.2002.
Order two of eoch port: WBO2X11331 Brocket
WB01X10353 Screw
To instoll optionol instollotion brockets:
Remove 2 screws on both sides under cooktop.
Align optionol instollotion brocket under cooktop
ond reinstoll screws through the slot in the brocket.
Do this on both sides of the cooktop.
Threod the thumb screw through the hole in the
brocket ond tighten to secure the cooktop to the
countertop. Repeot on the other side.
IMPORTANT: Turn thumb screw until it touches the
bottom of the countertop. Do not overtighten.
