TROUBLESHOOTING

CAusE
The power plug (13) is not
connected properly to the
wall outlet or the circuit
breaker may be tripped.
The temperature
control (5) is set to off.
The auto shut-off function
has been activated.
The water reservoir (12) is
overfilled.
The set temperature has
not been reached or is
too low.
Water level in the water
reservoir (12) is too low.
The set temperature has
not been reached.
The function control (4)
is not set to the steam
ironing
position.
Anti-drip function shuts
off steam when the
temperature setting is
too low.
Before use, there
is water left in the
water reservoir (12).
Leftover water may
stain garments and the
soleplate (15).
Scale has built up inside
the water reservoir (12).
soluTion
Re-connect the power
plug (13) properly to the
wall outlet or check the
circuit breaker.
Set the temperature
control (5) to the desired
temperature.
Tilt the iron down and back
to restart the iron.
Pour out some water.
Allow sufficient time for
the iron to preheat or set
higher temperature.
Add water in the water
reservoir (12).
Allow sufficient time for
the iron to heat up.
Set the function control (4)
to the steam ironing
position.
Set temperature higher.
Always empty the water
reservoir (12) after each
use.
Rinse the water
reservoir (12) periodically.
