Water Mixing Valve - Maytag Jenn-Air Service Manual

WATER MIXING VALVE
The water mixing valve is located inside
the right rear cabinet. It is secured by
two (2) screws inserted through the
cabinet into the valve bracket. The hot
and cold water supply inlet hoses are
attached to the nozzles of the water
mixing valve.
The mixing valve will allow hot or cold
water, or a mixture ofthe two as
called for by the control circuitry, to enter
the machine through the inlet hose and
inlet flume.
Usually, the temperature of the warm
water entering the machine will be about
halfway between the cold and hot water
temperatures delivered to the mixing
valve. This is provided the pressure and
flow rate of both are equal.
