Reads a LUT data file from a "Memory Stick".
You can select from User1, User2, User3, User4 or User5.
When a LUT data file is read for the user data (User1 to User5), the file name is displayed
next to the user data.
When you select the user data, a list of LUT data files in the "Memory Stick" is displayed, and
you can select a file name.
Note
After converting the LUT data output from Grading Tool of another vendor to LUT data in the
Sony-unique format, convert the LUT data again with the coversion tool so that it can be read
by the monitor.
The Sony-unique format specifications for the LUT data to input to the conversion tool,
conversion tool and operation procedures for the conversion tool are scheduled for release in
February 2009. To obtain them, contact your Sony representative.
Deletes the LUT data file read into the user data (User1 to User5).
Note
When there are no user data with the LUT data file, you cannot select the user data.
When the item is selected, the user data with the LUT data file, file name and All are
displayed.
When a user data is selected to delete each user data (file) or All is selected to delete all user
data, the following message is displayed:
Delete this data?
OK: To delete the data, press the ENTER (Ent) button.
Cancel: To cancel, press the MENU button.
Sets the user data (User1 to User5) of Matrix/Gamma (transmission matrix and transmission
gamma).
As the signal is processed internally by the data setting of Matrix/Gamma, the signal may not
be displayed correctly, if the signal is not set according to the transmission standards for the
input signal.
For the transmission gamma and the transmission matrix of Matrix/Gamma, see the Matrix/
Gamma menu (page 53) of the Input Configuration menu.
Selects the user data of Matrix/Gamma.
You can select from User1 to User5. [User1]
Sets the transmission matrix.
[ITU709]: Matrix of ITU-R BT.709 standards
ITU601: Matrix of ITU-R BT.601 standards
SMPTE 240M: Matrix of SMPTE-240M standards
Note
The internal fixed value applies to the transmission matrix of the RGB format and XYZ format.
Sets the transmission gamma.
[2.2]: Transmission gamma 2.2
2.6 RGB: Transmission gamma 2.6 for the RGB format
2.6 XYZ: Transmission gamma 2.6 for the XYZ format
xvYCC: Transmission gamma of IEC 61966-2-4 standards (xvYCC)
S-LOG Standard: Log gamma available with the F23 Digital Cinematography Camera.
Select to run the 100% output level of the F23 with the 100% level of the monitor for
confirmation.
S-LOG Full: Log gamma available with the F23.
Select to fit the full dynamic range of the F23 in the 100% level of the monitor for
confirmation.
Notes
• As 2.6 RGB is setting for 2048 × 1080 RGB format, the input signal of any other format is
not displayed correctly.
• When you select xvYCC, set Emulation (page 57) to L230 Native in the Color Gamut menu
of the Display Setting menu to display the extended color gamut area.
• When the quantization range of the DVI signal is Full, the internal fixed value of the
transmission gamma is applied.
