To hide the characters on the monitor during manual adjustment
Set the CHAR OFF button of the controller to on. As the characters on the display are
hidden, it becomes easy to adjust the picture. To display the characters, set the CHAR OFF
button to off.
To reset Red, Green and Blue to the value before adjustment
Press the MANUAL button of BRIGHT, CHROMA or PHASE. The Red, Green and Blue are
reset to the value before adjustment.
To reset Contrast to the value before adjustment
Press the MANUAL button of CONTRAST.
Note
You cannot reset the setting after you press the ENTER (Ent) button.
To cancel adjustment
Press the MENU button. The adjustment data is cleared and the setting returns to the
previous value.
To confirm adjustment
Press the ENTER (Ent) button.
Sets the initial value.
Except for the XYZ format signal
You can select from D93, D65, D61, D56, D-Cine, User1, User2, User3, User4 or User5.
When D93, D65, D61, D56 or D-Cine data is changed, they are displayed as D93*, D65*,
D61*, D56* or D-Cine*.
For the XYZ format signal
You can select from D-Cine XYZ, User XYZ1, User XYZ2, User XYZ3, User XYZ4 or User
XYZ5.
When D-Cine XYZ data is changed, it is displayed as D-Cine XYZ*.
Sets the white signal to be used for adjustment.
Internal: Select when an internal signal is used. The signal is automatically switched to
the 100% white signal.
[External]: Select when an external input signal is used. Supply the 100% white signal.
Note
When the signal format set in the Format menu of the Input Configuration menu is 4:4:4 XYZ
12bit or DVI Computer, this menu is not selectable. Input the 100% white signal.
Sets whether or not to adjust the color temperature and contrast (backlight) at the same time.
Off: Contrast is adjusted.
[On]: Contrast is not adjusted.
Adjusts the color temperature automatically by using an optional probe.
When the item is selected, the color temperature data to be adjusted is displayed.
When D93, D65, D61, D56 or D-Cine data is changed, they are displayed as D93*, D65*,
D61*, D56* or D-Cine*.
When Contrast Hold is set to Off, the color temperature data and contrast data are displayed.
The contrast data is displayed as the picture preset data Preset1 to Preset5 or Preset (D-
Cine) set in Picture Preset of the Input Configuration menu, or MANUAL. To change the
displayed data from the picture preset data to MANUAL, set the MANUAL button of
CONTRAST to on. To change the displayed data from MANUAL to the picture preset data,
set the MANUAL button of CONTRAST to off. To change the type of the picture preset data,
select from Preset1 to Preset5 or Preset (D-Cine) in the Picture Preset menu of the Input
Configuration menu.
