Preparing the appliance for
use
Before using the washing machine
for the first time, ensure that it is
correctly installed and connected.
See "Installation and connection".
This washing machine has
completed a comprehensive
functional test. A small quantity of
water remains in the drum as a result.
The initial operation consists of six
steps. The washing machine guides
you automatically through steps 1 to 5.
1. Welcome screen
^ Press the K button.
The "Willkommen" screen will appear for
three seconds. The display will then
switch to the screen for setting the
language.
The welcome screen will appear in
the display every time the washing
machine is switched on until a
programme lasting longer than
1 hour has been completed.

Before using for the first time

2. Setting the language
You will be asked to select the
language you require for the display. It
is possible to change the language at
any time via the programmable
functions Further programmes/Settings
4 in the Settings menu.

^ Push the X and Y button to select the
language you want. Confirm with OK.
3. Setting the time of day
The display for setting the time will
appear.

^ Push the X or Y button to select the
hours.
^ Confirm with OK. Proceed to set the
minutes in the same way.
