7.4 Electrical system

• Always charge the auxiliary battery
for at least 20 hours before each
journey, directly after each journey
and before you take the camper
temporarily out of service.
• Use every opportunity during your
journey to charge the battery.
• The battery loses its capacity after
having been used for a while and
at low temperatures.
• An acoustic warning signal will be
given off if the remaining time during
discharge operation is less than
1 hour.
• If the battery voltage should be less
than 10.0 V, all devices will automa-
tically be switched off.
• A warning will go off if the battery
ages to a value less than 50% of its
nominal capacity.
• The battery is only charged if it has
a minimum voltage of 8 V.
• If the vehicle is not in use for a
longer period of time, the battery
should be disconnected after it has
been optimally charged.

structions for the charge controller.
As soon as there is a mains connection, the
electrical system will switch from battery operati-
on to mains operation.
The electrical supply unit uses a converter to
transform the external mains voltage for the 12
Volt electrical devices.
All of the lamps in the camper use 12V. Only
large electrical devices such as the therme, floor
heating, air conditioner, etc., use 230V.
