Matrix/Gamma data
ITU-R BT.709: Select when the signal of the ITU-R BT.709 standards format is input.
ITU-R BT.601: Select when the signal of the ITU-R BT.601 standards format is input.
SMPTE 240M: Select when the signal of the SMPTE-240M standards format is input.
D-Cine RGB: Select when 2048 × 1080 RGB format signal is input.
D-Cine XYZ: Select when XYZ format signal of SMPTE RP 431-2 standard is input.
xvYCC 709: Select when the IEC 61966-2-4 standards (xvYCC) and the transmission
matrix ITU-R BT.709 standards format signal is input.
xvYCC 601: Select when the IEC 61966-2-4 standards (xvYCC) and the transmission
matrix ITU-R BT.601 standards format signal is input.
User1 - User5: Select when the transmission matrix and transmission gamma is set
individually depending on the input signal format.
Note
When you select xvYCC 709 or xvYCC 601, set Emulation (page 56) to L170 Native in the
Color Gamut menu of the Input Configuration menu to display the extended color gamut area.
For setting the user data (User1 to User5) of Matrix/Gamma, see the User Matrix/Gamma
menu (page 59) of the Display Setting menu.
Transmission matrix
ITU709: Matrix of ITU-R BT.709 standards
ITU601: Matrix of ITU-R BT.601 standards
SMPTE240M: Matrix of SMPTE-240M standards
Note
The internal fixed value applies to the transmission matrix of the RGB format or XYZ format.
Transmission gamma
2.2: Transmission gamma 2.2
2.6 RGB: Transmission gamma 2.6 for 2048 × 1080 RGB format
2.6 XYZ: Transmission gamma 2.6 for the XYZ format
xvYCC: Transmission gamma of IEC 61966-2-4 standards (xvYCC)
S-LOG Standard: Log gamma available with the F23 Digital Cinematography Camera.
Select to run the 100% output level of the F23 with the 100% level of the monitor for
confirmation.
S-LOG Full: Log gamma available with the F23.
Select to fit the full dynamic range of the F23 in the 100% level of the monitor for
confirmation.
Notes
• As 2.6 RGB is setting for 2048 × 1080 RGB format, the input signal of any other format is
not displayed correctly.
• When you select xvYCC, set Emulation (page 56) to L170 Native in the Color Gamut menu
of the Input Configuration menu to display the extended color gamut area.
• When the quantization range of the DVI or HDMI signal is Full, the internal fixed value of
the transmission gamma is applied.
Sets Matrix/Gamma of the HD signal.
You can select from [ITU-R BT.709], ITU-R BT.601, SMPTE 240M, xvYCC 709, xvYCC 601
or User1 to User5.
Sets Matrix/Gamma of the SD signal.
You can select from ITU-R BT.709, [ITU-R BT.601], SMPTE 240M, xvYCC 709, xvYCC 601
or User1 to User5.
Sets Matrix/Gamma of the digital cinema signal (2048 × 1080) of the RGB format.
You can select from [D-Cine RGB] or User1 to User5.
Sets Matrix/Gamma of the digital cinema signal (2048 × 1080) of the XYZ format.
You can select from [D-Cine XYZ] or User1 to User5.
Sets Matrix/Gamma of the DVI/HDMI Computer signal.
You can select from [ITU-R BT.709], ITU-R BT.601, SMPTE 240M, xvYCC 709, xvYCC 601
or User1 to User5.
