INTRODUCTION

The DUALSAW CS 450 has many special features that make this tool very differ-
ent from other circular saws. To make the use of this tool more pleasant and
enjoyable, please be sure to read and understand this manual.

WARRANTY

DUALSAW® - LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
This warranty covers all defects in workmanship or materials in your DUALSAW®
for a period of one year from the date of purchase with the exception of blades
and accessories.
HOW TO GET SERVICE
Just return the DUALSAW®, properly packaged and postage prepaid to our Au-
thorized Service Center. You can obtain the location of the Service Center by call-
ing 1-855-382-5729. When you request warranty service, you must also present
proof of purchase documentation, which includes the date of purchase (sales re-
ceipt). We will repair any faulty workmanship, and either repair or replace any
defective part, at our option. We will do so without any charge to you. We will
complete the work 90 days or less.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser at retail and may not be trans-
ferred. This warranty only covers defects arising under normal usage and does not
cover any malfunction, failure or defects resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect,
alteration, modification or repairs by other than the Authorized Service Center.
Infusion Brands, Inc. makes no warranties, representation or promises as to the
quality or performance of its power tools other than those specifically stated in
this warranty.

  • Page 3 GENERAL SAFETY RULES • Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry the tool or to pull the plug. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Contact Customer Service if cord is damaged and do not use the saw. Damaged cords increase the risk of electric shock.

Do not use tool while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.

    GENERAL SAFETY RULES • Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the tools operation. If damaged, con- tact Customer Service before using. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained tools. Develop a periodic maintenance schedule for your tool. Contact Customer Service to have defective switches replaced.
  • Page 6 Contact with a “live” wire will also make exposed metal parts of the tool “live” and shock the operator. • DO NOT use any blades other than the DUALSAW Blades specially designed for this tool. Other blades do not match the mounting hardware & will cause loss of control.
  • Page 7 SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES Kickback is the result of tool misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or conditions and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given be- low: • Maintain a firm grip with both hands on the saw and position your body and arm to allow you to resist kickback forces.

    OPERATION DUALSAW BLADES • Keep the blades clean, sharp and properly set. Using a dull blade will place a heavy load on your saw and increases the danger of kickback. Keep extra blades on hand, so sharp blades are always available.
  • Page 17 OPERATION CAUTION! Maintain control of the saw to make sawing safer and easier. Loss of control of the saw could cause an accident resulting in possible serious injury. STARTING A CUT • Slide the switch to ON to start the saw. Always let the blades reach full speed before you begin to cut into the work piece.
