Installing the right expansion card riser

Prerequisites
CAUTION: Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only
perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as

Holding the expansion card riser by its sides, align the riser with the riser panel slot and the
connector on the system board.
2.
Insert the expansion card riser into the system.
NOTE: Note that the riser edge slides into the riser guide on the system board.
3.
Insert the riser edge connector into the connector on the system board until the riser is fully seated.
