Before starting the washer:
o Sort laundry by color and/or fabric type.
Load laundry in the washer.
Add detergent to the dispenser drawer.
Add fabric softener to the fabric softener dispenser.
Add bleach, if desired, to the bleach dispenser.
Power
Press the Power button to turn on the control panel.
NOTE: Pressing Power does not disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Cycles
Press the Cycles button to select the desired cycle.
For heavily to lightly soiled colorfast cottons, household linens, work and play clothes. Thiscycle
Normal providesthe best overall cleaningand should be usedfor most everydayitems. Providesnormal wash
and medium speed spin.
Delicates For lingerie and special-care fabrics with light to normal soil. Provides light wash and low speed spin.
For small loads of lightly soiled items that are needed in a hurry. Provideslight wash/rinse and short
Speed Wash high speed spin.
An above normal cycle for heavily soiled or stained clothes. A soak cycle is added and the agitate
Heavy Duty cycle is extended for extra cleaning. This more aggressive cycle should be used sparingly.
For items labeled hand-washable with light soils. Provides gentle tumbling and soak during
Handwash wash and rinse.
Soak Cycle An extended wash cycle to loosen embedded soils and stains.
To save a favorite cycle, set Cycles to Ply Cycle and select the desired Process, Load Size,
Options and Water Temp settings. Press the Start button. The washer will automatically save
My Cycle the setting and start.
To change the NV Cycle, re-save following the above process.
To use Ply Cycle, set Cycles to Ply Cycle and press the Start button.
Use for cleaning the basket of residue and odor. Recommended use of at least once per month.
Basket Clean NOTE: Never load laundry while using Basket Clean. The laundry may become damaged. See
the Care and Cleaning section.
Lood Size
This washer will automatically determine the correct amount of water suited to the size and type of load placed in
the unit. To change load size, press the Load Size button and select the desired load size: Extra Large; Extra Large-
Large; Large; Large-Medium; Medium; Medium-Small; Small. NOTE: Extra Large cannot be selected for Normal
wash cycle. The light will indicate the load size selected. Adjust the load size accordingly. Loosely load clothes no
higher than the top row of holes in the washer basket.
